IEC 61184:2017 This document applies to bayonet lampholders B15d and B22d for connection of lamps and semi-luminaires to a supply voltage of 250 V.
This document also covers lampholders which are integral with a luminaire or intended to be built into appliances. It covers the requirements for the lampholder only.
This fourth edition cancels and replaces the third edition published in 2008 and Amendment 1:2011. This edition constitutes a technical revision.
This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
a) Restructuring of the standard in accordance with IEC Directives Part 2.
b) Clause 18: Update on creepage distances and clearances;
c) Addition of Annex B.

IEC 60838-2-3:2016 applies to lampholders for double-capped linear LED lamps intended for building-in (to be used for general lighting service and with caps as listed in Annex A). Lampholders within the scope of this standard do not include heat management. Double-capped linear LED lamps can also be used with lampholders originally been designated for other technologies. The requirements for these lampholders are covered by separate standards.
This publication is to be read in conjunction with IEC 60838-1.

IEC 60400:2017 states the technical and dimensional requirements for lampholders for tubular fluorescent lamps and for starterholders, and the methods of test to be used in determining the safety and the fit of the lamps in the lampholders and the starters in the starterholders.
This eighth edition cancels and replaces the seventh edition published in 2008, Amendment 1:2011 and Amendment 2:2014. This edition constitutes a technical revision.
This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition:
- alignment with ISO/IEC drafting rules;
- renumbering of clauses, tables and figures.
This bilingual version (2017-12) corresponds to the monolingual English version, published in 2017-06.
The French version of this standard has not been voted upon.

IEC 62321-9:2021 specifies two techniques for the determination of hexabromocyclododecane (HBCDD) in polymers of electrotechnical products.
The gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) test method is described in the normative part of this document. The GC-MS method is suitable for the determination of hexabromocyclododecane (HBCDD).
A method using high-pressure liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (HPLC-MS) is given.
These test methods have been evaluated for use with EPS (expanded polystyrene foam), XPS (extruded polystyrene foam) and ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) within the concentration ranges as specified. The use of this method for other types of materials or concentration ranges outside those specified below has not been evaluated.
This document has the status of a horizontal standard in accordance with IEC Guide 108.
