ISO/TC 96/SC 2 - Terminology

ISO/TC 96/SC 2 is a Subcommittee within the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is named "Terminology" and is responsible for: Standardization of the terms, definitions and graphical symbols common to all crane types. These terms, definitions and symbols cover every period of the crane life cycle – design, manufacturing, testing, use, operation, maintenance, repair and disposal. The aim of this work is to harmonize the terminology of standards, which are developed by other subcommittees of ISO/TC 96. This committee has published 9 standards.
