This amendment A11 modifies the Harmonization Document HD 60364-7-701:2024; it was approved by CENELEC on 2024-07-29.

701.30.102 Description of zone 0
Modify the text as follows:
Zone 0 is limited:
a) by the interior of a bath tub (see Figure 2 to Figure 4) or by the interior of a
shower basin (see Figure 2 to Figure 4, by considering the bath tub to be a
shower basin).
b) for showers without basin:

701.1 In Finland depth of 6 cm does not apply.
France
701.1 Add the following:
In France, a depth of 6 cm does not apply. The fourth conditions is:
– the volume within the walls, floor and ceiling (excepted perforated ceiling) that
border the location containing a bath or shower.
Any fixed and sustainable wall, joined to a standing surface, does limit volumes
when its height is greater than or equal to that of the volume and then applying
the rule of horizontal bypass. In the other cases, this wall does not delimit the
volumes.
Removable shower walls or walls that are not linked to the ceiling and/or ground
do not delimit the locations containing a bath or a shower.
701.101 Add the following:
In France, the bypass rule does not apply vertically.
Delete Figure 6 (Dimensions of zones 0 and 1: side view of a shower without
basin and with fixed partition).
701.3.4 Add the following:
In France the definition of fixed partition (701.3.4) and its Notes to entry are not
needed.
701.30.101 Add the following sentence after the second paragraph:
"In France, in fixed partitions only fixed walls that belong to the building and
linked to the standing ground limit zones. Fixed partitions that do not meet those
conditions as well as mobile partitions cannot limit zones."
701.30.103 Add the following note
In France
‘The space under a bath tub or a shower basin is not considered to be zone 1 but
as a specific zone.’
701.30.104 According to §701.2 of NF C 15-100/A5. The following sentence doesn’t apply in
France :
“b) for showers, there is no zone 2. (see Figure 5 to Figure 10).”
There is a zone 2 in France for showers.
