This European Standard specifies the characteristics of square flange mounted receptacles in the family of circular electrical connectors coupled by threaded ring. It applies to class defined in Table 3. For contacts, sealing plugs and rear associated cable outlets with this receptacle, see EN 2997-002. For plugs and protective covers, see EN 2997-008 and EN 2997-009 respectively.

La présente Norme Européenne spécifie les caractéristiques des embases à fixation par collerette carrée de la famille des connecteurs électriques circulaires à accouplement par bague filetée.
Elle s'applique aux classes définies dans le Tableau 3.

Ta evropski standard določa značilnosti vgrajenih priključnih doz s kvadratno prirobnico iz družine okroglih električnih konektorjev, priključenih z navojnim obročkom. Velja za razred iz preglednice 3. Za kontakte, tesnilne čepe in na zadnjem delu povezane izhode kablov s to priključno dozo glej standard EN 2997-002. Za čepe in zaščitna prekrivala glej ustrezna standarda EN 2997-008 in EN 2997-009.
