Power installations exceeding 1 kV AC and 1,5 kV DC - Part 2: DC

IEC 61936-2:2023 provides, in a convenient form, requirements for the design and the erection of DC installations in systems with nominal voltages above 1,5 kV DC, so as to provide safety and proper functioning for the use intended. For the purpose of interpreting this document, a DC installation is considered to be one of the following: a) A converter station or DC switching station; b) one (or more) DC generating or storage unit(s), such as solar farms or battery storage units, located on a single site, the DC installation includes DC equipment and cables with all associated power electronics, controlgear, switchgear and all electrical auxiliary systems. Connections between DC generating or storage units located on different sites are excluded; c) DC installation erected on offshore facilities for the purpose of generation, transmission, distribution and/or storage of electricity; or d) DC transition station (between overhead lines and underground cable or between different sections of underground cables). This International Standard does not apply to the design and erection of any of the following: - overhead and underground lines between separate installations; - electric railways; - mining equipment and installations; i- installations on ships according to IEC 60092 series and offshore units according to IEC 61892 series, which are used in the offshore petroleum industry for drilling, processing and storage purposes; - electrostatic equipment (e.g. electrostatic precipitators, spray-painting units); - test sites; - medical equipment, e.g. medical X-ray equipment; - valve hall or converter hall. This document does not apply to the requirements for carrying out live working on electrical installations. This document does not apply to the design of factory-built, type-tested thyristor valves, VSC valves and switchgear for which separate IEC standards exist. This first edition cancels and replaces the IEC TS 61936-2 published in 2015. This edition constitutes a technical revision. See the foreword of this edition for the list of significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition.

L'IEC 61936-2:2023 fournit, sous une forme pratique, des exigences relatives à la conception et au montage des installations à courant continu dans des systèmes dont les tensions nominales sont supérieures à 1,5 kV en courant continu, afin d'assurer la sécurité et le fonctionnement correct pour l'utilisation prévue. Pour les besoins d'interprétation du présent document, une installation à courant continu est considérée comme l'une des suivantes: une station de conversion ou un poste de commutation à courant continu; un ou plusieurs générateurs à courant continu ou une plusieurs unités de stockage, par exemple des parcs solaires ou unités de stockage par batteries, situés sur un seul site; l'installation à courant continu comprend les matériels et les câbles à courant continu avec toute l'électronique de puissance, tout l'appareillage et tous les systèmes auxiliaires électriques associés. Les liaisons entre les générateurs à courant continu ou les unités de stockage à courant continu situés sur des sites différents sont exclues; une installation à courant continu mise en œuvre sur des plateformes offshore pour la production, le transport, la distribution et/ou le stockage de l'énergie électrique; ou un poste de transition à courant continu (entre des lignes aériennes et un câble souterrain ou entre différentes sections de câbles souterrains). Ta del standarda IEC 61936 v ustrezni obliki podaja zahteve za načrtovanje in postavitev postrojev za enosmerne napetosti v sistemih z nazivno napetostjo nad 1,5 kV pri enosmernem toku, da se zagotovita varnost in primerno delovanje za predvideno uporabo.
Za namene razlage tega dokumenta se šteje, da je postroj za enosmerno napetost nekaj od tega:
a) pretvorniška postaja ali postaja za preklop enosmerne napetosti;
b) ena ali več enot za proizvodnjo ali shranjevanje enosmerne energije, kot so sončne elektrarne ali baterijske shranjevalne enote, ki se nahajajo na enem mestu, pri čemer postroj za enosmerno napetost vključuje opremo in kable za enosmerno napetost z vso pridruženo močnostno elektroniko, krmilnimi napravami, stikali in vsemi električnimi pomožnimi sistemi.
Povezave med enotami za proizvodnjo ali shranjevanje enosmerne energije na različnih mestih so izključene;
c) postroj za enosmerno napetost na morju, namenjen proizvodnji, prenosu, distribuciji in/ali shranjevanju električne energije; ali
d) tranzitna postaja za enosmerno napetost (med nadzemnimi vodi in podzemnim kablom ali med več deli podzemnih kablov).
Ta mednarodni standard se ne uporablja za načrtovanje in postavitev:
– nadzemnih in podzemnih vodov med ločenimi postroji;
– električne železnice;
– rudarske opreme in inštalacij;
– postrojev na ladjah v skladu s skupino standardov IEC 60092 in enot na morju v skladu s skupino standardov IEC 61892, ki se uporabljajo na področju naftne industrije na odprtem morju za vrtanje, obdelavo in shranjevanje;
– elektrostatične opreme (npr. elektrofiltri, enote barvanja z razpršilom);
– preskusnih mest;
– medicinske opreme, npr. medicinske rentgenske opreme;
– prostorov z ventili ali pretvorniki.
Dokument se ne uporablja za zahteve pri delu na električnih postrojih pod napetostjo.
Dokument se ne uporablja za načrtovanje tovarniško izdelanih, tipsko preskušenih tiristorskih ventilov, ventilov VSC in stikalnih naprav, za katere obstajajo ločeni standardi IEC.
