High-voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 100: Alternating-current circuit-breakers

IEC 62271-100:2008 is applicable to a.c. circuit-breakers designed for indoor or outdoor installation and for operation at frequencies of 50 Hz and 60 Hz on systems having voltages above 1 000 V. It is only applicable to three-pole circuit-breakers for use in three-phase systems and single-pole circuit-breakers for use in single-phase systems. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2001 and its amendments 1 (2002) and 2 (2006). It also cancels and replaces IEC 61633 and IEC 62271-308. The main changes with respect to the previous edition are listed below: - the introduction of harmonised (IEC and IEEE) TRV waveshapes for rated voltages of 100 kV and above (amendment 1 to the first edition); - the introduction of cable and line systems with their associated TRVs for rated voltages below 100 kV (amendment 2 to the first edition); - the inclusion of IEC 61633 and IEC 62271-308. This standard shall be read in conjunction with IEC 62271-1, first edition, published in 2007.

La CEI 62271-100:2008 est applicable aux disjoncteurs à courant alternatif conçus pour l'installation à l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur, et pour fonctionner à des fréquences de 50 Hz à 60 Hz, sur des réseaux de tensions supérieures à 1 000 V. Elle est applicable uniquement aux disjoncteurs tripolaires pour réseaux triphasés et aux disjoncteurs unipolaires pour réseaux monophasés. Cette deuxième édition annule et remplace la première édition parue en 2001 et les amendements 1 (2002) et 2 (2006). Elle annule et remplace aussi la CEI 61633 et la CEI 62271-308. Les modifications principales par rapport à l'édition précédente sont les suivantes: - introduction des formes d'onde de TTR harmonisées (CEI et IEEE) pour les tensions assignées supérieures ou égales à 100 kV (amendement 1 de la première édition); - introduction des réseaux par câbles et réseaux aériens et de leurs TTR associées pour les tensions assignées inférieures à 100 kV (amendement 2 de la première édition); - inclusion des CEI 61633 et CEI 62271-308. Cette norme doit être lue conjointement avec la CEI 62271-1, première édition, publiée en 2007.

Ta del standarda IEC 62271 se uporablja za izmenične odklopnike za notranjo in zunanjo namestitev, ki delujejo na frekvencah 50 Hz in 60 Hz v sistemih z napetostjo, višjo od 1000 V. Uporablja se samo za tripolne odklopnike v trifaznih sistemih in enopolne odklopnike v enofaznih sistemih. O uporabi dvopolnih odklopnikov v enofaznih sistemih in pri frekvencah, nižjih od 50 Hz, se dogovorita proizvajalec in uporabnik. Ta standard se uporablja tudi za upravljalne naprave za tokovne odklopnike in njihovo pomožno opremo. Vendar ta standard ne zajema odklopnika z zapiralnim mehanizmom za odvisno ročno upravljanje, saj ni mogoče določiti naznačenega toka, ki povzroča kratki stik, pri čemer je lahko odvisno ročno upravljanje vprašljivo zaradi varnosti. Pravila za odklopnike z namerno nesočasnostjo med poli so v obravnavi; odklopniki z enopolnim samodejnim ponovnim vklopom so zajeti v tem standardu.

The text of document 17A/815/FDIS, future edition 2 of IEC 62271-100, prepared by SC 17A,
High-voltage switchgear and controlgear, of IEC TC 17, Switchgear and controlgear, was submitted to the
IEC-CENELEC parallel vote and was approved by CENELEC as EN 62271-100 on 2009-03-01.
This European Standard supersedes EN 62271-100:2001 + A1:2002 + A2:2006 + A2:2006/corrigendum
November 2006.
The main changes with respect to EN 62271-100:2001 are listed below:
– introduction of harmonised (IEC and IEEE) TRV waveshapes for rated voltages of 100 kV and above
(amendment 1 to EN 62271-100:2001);
– introduction of cable and line systems with their associated TRVs for rated voltages below 100 kV
(amendment 2 to EN 62271-100:2001);
– inclusion of IEC 61633 and IEC 62271-308.
This standard shall be read in conjunction with EN 62271-1:2008, to which it refers and which is
applicable unless otherwise specified in this standard. In order to simplify the indication of corresponding
requirements, the same numbering of clauses and subclauses is used as in EN 62271-1. Amendments to
these clauses and subclauses are given under the same references whilst additional subclauses are
numbered from 101.
The following dates were fixed:
– latest date by which the EN has to be implemented
at national level by publication of an identical
national standard or by endorsement (dop) 2009-12-01
– latest date by which the national standards conflicting
with the EN have to be withdrawn (dow) 2012-03-01
Annex ZA has been added by CENELEC.
