This European Standard specifies requirements and test methods for strength, security, durability and function of electrical and electronic components for all types of electromechanically operated locks and striking plates used on doors, window doors and entrance doors in buildings.
Requirements relating to the purely mechanical feature of products included in this European Standard (e.g. resistance to drilling/side load) are covered by EN 12209.
This European Standard covers electromechanically operated locks and striking plates which are either manufactured and placed on the market in their entirety by one producer or assembled from sub-assemblies produced by more than one producer and designed to be used in combination.
This document is not applicable to electrically powered hold-open devices (EN 1155), electrically controlled panic exit systems (prEN 13633) or electrically controlled emergency exit systems (prEN 13637). It does not apply to purely magnetic locks, mechatronic or mechanical cylinders (EN 1303), handles (EN 1906), locks for windows, padlocks (EN 12320), locks for safes (EN 1300), furniture locks or prison locks, nor does it apply to cover operating and identification devices (such as mechanical cylinders, intelligent cards, digit codes, magnetic cards).
This European Standard does not, for the time being, apply to electromagnetic door locks but these devices will be considered for inclusion in the first revision of this European Standard.
Baubeschläge - Schlösser - Elektromechanische Schlösser und Schließbleche - Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren
Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an und Prüfverfahren für die Festigkeit, Schutzwirkung, Dauerfunktionstüchtigkeit und Wirkungsweise von elektrischen und elektronischen Bauteilen für sämtliche Arten von elektromechanisch betätigten Schlössern und Schließblechen fest, die an Türen, Fenstertüren und Eingangstüren in Gebäuden zum Einsatz kommen.
Anforderungen, die sich auf die rein mechanischen Merkmale der in dieser Norm behandelten Produkte beziehen (z. B. Aufbohrsicherheit/seitliche Belastung), werden durch EN 12209 abgedeckt.
Die vorliegende Europäische Norm deckt elektromechanische Schlösser und Schließbleche ab, die entweder insgesamt durch einen Hersteller gefertigt und auf den Markt gebracht oder aus durch mehr als einen Hersteller gefertigten Baugruppen montiert werden und für den Einsatz in Kombination vorgesehen sind.
Diese Norm ist nicht anwendbar auf elektrisch betriebene Feststellvorrichtungen (EN 1155), elektrisch gesteuerte Paniktüranlagen (prEN 13633) oder elektrisch gesteuerte Fluchttüranlagen (prEN 13637). Sie gilt nicht für rein magnetische Schlösser, mechatronische oder mechanische Schlie߬zylinder (EN 1303), Türdrücker (EN 1906), Schlösser für Fenster, Hangschlösser (EN 12320), Schlösser für Geldschränke (EN 1300), Möbelschlösser oder Gefängnisschlösser, sie gilt auch nicht für Betätigungs und Identifizierungs¬vorrichtungen (wie beispielsweise mechanische Schließzylinder, intelligente Karten, Ziffern¬codes, Magnet¬karten).
Diese Norm gilt derzeit nicht für Türhaftmagnete, aber es ist vorgesehen, solche Produkte bei der ersten Überarbeitung in diese Norm aufzunehmen.
Quincaillerie pour le bâtiment - Serrures et becs de cane - Serrures et gâches électromécaniques - Exigences et méthodes d'essai
La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences et les méthodes d’essai relatives à la résistance, à la
sécurité, à l’endurance et au fonctionnement des composants électriques et électroniques de tous les types de
serrures et gâches manoeuvrés par des moyens électromécaniques et montés sur des portes, portes-fenêtres et
portes d’entrée de bâtiment.
Les exigences relatives aux aspects purement mécaniques des produits couverts par la présente Norme
européenne (par exemple la résistance au perçage, les charges latérales, etc.) sont traitées dans le EN 12209.
La présente Norme Européenne s’applique aux serrures et aux gâches manoeuvrées par des moyens
électromécaniques qui sont soit fabriquées et placées sur le marché dans leur ensemble par un fabricant ou
assemblées par un fabricant de sous-ensembles produits par plus d’un fabricant et conçues pour être utilisées en
combinaison.
La présente Norme européenne n’est pas applicable aux dispositifs de retenue électromagnétique pour portes
battantes (EN 1155), aux systèmes de fermetures anti-panique pour issues de secours contrôlés électriquement et
destinés à être utilisés sur des voies d'évacuation (prEN 13633) ou aux systèmes de fermeture d'urgence pour
issues de secours contrôlées électriquement (prEN 13637). Elle ne s’applique pas non plus aux serrures purement
magnétiques, aux cylindres mécatroniques ou mécaniques (EN 1303), aux béquilles et boutons de porte (EN 1906),
aux cadenas et porte-cadenas (EN 12320), aux serrures de coffres (EN 1300), .aux serrures de mobiliers ou de
prison. Il ne s'applique pas non plus aux dispositifs d'actionnement et d'identification (tels les cylindres mécaniques,
les cartes intelligentes, les codes à chiffres, les cartes magnétiques, etc.).
Pour le moment, la présente Norme Européenne ne s'applique pas aux électroaimants pour portes, ces dispositifs
seront néanmoins intégrés lors de la première révision du document.
