This standard specifies methods of test for rigid locked socket and spigot joints using elastomeric sealing rings for plastics piping systems of glass-reinforced thermosetting plastics (GRP) for pressure and non-pressure applications. This standard is only applicable to the joint and covers methods of test to prove its design. This test procedure is applicable to joints for pipes and fittings of all nominal sizes.
