Metallic materials - Tube - Flattening test
This European Standard specifies a method for determining the ability of metallic tubes of circular cross section to undergo plastic defermation by flattening. It may also be used to show up defects in the tubes. The Standard is applicable to tubes having an outside diameter not greater than 600mm and a thickness not greater than 15% of the outside diameter. The range of the outside diameter, or thickness, for which this European Standard is applicable may be more exactly specified in the relevant Product Standard.

In dieser Europäischen Norm ist ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Faltverhaltensvon Metallrohren mit kreisförmigem Querschnitt festgelegt. Diese Prüfung kann auch zur Sichtbarmachung von Fehlern in Rohren angewendet werden. Die Norm ist anwendbar auf Rohre mit einem Aussendurchmesser nicht grösser als 600mm und einer Wanddicke nicht grösser als 15% des Aussendurchmessers. Der Bereich des Aussendurchmessers oder der Wanddicke, für den diese Europäische Norm zutrifft, kann genauer in der entsprechenden Erzeugnisnorm festgelegt sein.

La présente norme européenne spécifie une méthode de détermination de l'aptitude à la déformation plastique par aplatissement de tubes métalliques de section circulaire. La méthode peut également revéler les défauts des tubes. La norme est applicable aux tubes de diamètre extérieur inférieur ou égal à 600mm et d'épaisseur ne dépassant pas 15% du diamètre extérieur. Les gammes de diamètres extérieurs ou d'épaisseurs auxquelles s'applique la présente norme européenne peuvent être définies de façon plus ecplicite dans la norme de produit concernée.
