This Standard specifies safety requirements for RIC engine driven generating sets consisting of a RIC engine, an alternating current (a. c.) generator including the additional equipment required for operating e.g. controlgear, switchgear, and auxiliary equipment.
Stromerzeugungsaggregate mit Hubkolben-Verbrennungsmotoren - Sicherheit
Diese Norm legt die Sicherheitsanforderungen für Stromerzeugungsaggregate mit Hubkolben-Verbrennungs-motoren bis 1000 V bestehend aus einem Hubkolben-Verbrennungsmotor und einem Wechselstromgenerator fest. Eingeschlossen sind alle zusätzlichen Ausrüstungen, die für den Betrieb benötigt werden, z.B. Kontroll- und Schalteinrichtungen. Diese Norm gilt für Anwendungen an Land und auf Wasser, wobei Stromerzeugungsaggregate zum Gebrauch auf Seeschiffen sowie mobilen Offshore-Anlagen als auch für den Antrieb von Straßenfahrzeugen, Flugzeugen und Lokomotiven ausgeschlossen sind. Die besonderen Anforderungen für den Betrieb in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen werden in dieser Norm nicht behandelt. Die für Stromerzeugungsaggregate wesentlichen Gefährdungen sind in Anhang A aufgelistet. Diese Norm legt die besonderen Anforderungen für Stromerzeugungsaggregate basierend auf den allgemeinen Anforderungen der EN 292-1 und EN 292-2 fest. Zusätzlich hat der Hubkolben-Verbrennungsmotor den
Anforderungen von EN 1679-1 zu genügen.
Groupes électrogènes entraînés par moteurs alternatifs à combustion interne - Sécurité
La présente norme prescrit les prescriptions de sécurité applicables aux groupes électrogènes de plus de 1 000 V entraînés par moteurs alternatifs à combustion interne, constitués d'un moteur alternatif à combustion interne, d'un générateur de courant alternatif, y compris les équipements supplémentaires requis pour leur fonctionnement, par exemple appareillage de commande et de coupure et équipement auxiliaire. Elle est applicable aux groupes électrogènes utilisés pour des applications terrestres et marines, à l'exclusion des groupes électrogènes utilisés sur les navires de mer et les unités mobiles "off shore" ainsi qu'à bord des aéronefs ou pour la propulsion de véhicules terrestres et de locomotives. Les prescriptions particulières nécessaires pour un fonctionnement en atmosphères explosibles ne sont pas couvertes par la présente norme européenne. Les phénomènes dangereux relatifs aux groupes électrogènes entraînés par moteurs alternatifs à combustion interne sont identifiés dans l'annexe A. Les prescriptions particulières de sécurité applicables aux groupes électrogènes entraînés par moteurs alternatifs à combustion interne spécifiées dans la présente norme sont basées sur les spécifications générales précisées dans l'EN 292-1 et l'EN 292-2. En complément, les moteurs alternatifs à combustion interne doivent le cas échéant être conformes aux prescriptions de l'EN 1679-1.
