Building valves - Manually operated copper alloy and stainless steel ball valves for potable water supply in buildings - Tests and requirements

This document applies primarily to copper alloy and stainless steel ball valves with dimensions DN 6 to DN 100, for installations in buildings for potable water supply up to PN16 and a maximum distribution temperature of 65 °C. Occasional excursions up to 90 °C are permitted for a period of 1 h maximum.
The ball valves are classified by their nominal pressure being either PN10 or PN16.
This document specifies:
- the requirements of the materials and the design of ball valves;
- the mechanical, hydraulic and acoustic requirements of ball valves;
- the test methods to verify the requirements of ball valves;
- the marking requirements of ball valves.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt vorwiegend für Kugelhähne aus Kupferlegierungen und Edelstahl der Nennweiten DN 6 bis DN 100 für Installationen zur Trinkwasserversorgung in Gebäuden bis PN16 und eine höchste Verteilungstemperatur von 65 °C. Zeitweilige Abweichungen bis 90 °C sind für die Dauer von höchstens 1 h zulässig.
Die Kugelhähne werden nach ihrem Nenndruck, entweder PN10 oder PN16, klassifiziert.
Diese Europäische Norm legt fest:
- die Anforderungen an die Werkstoffe und die Konstruktion von Kugelhähnen,
- die mechanischen und hydraulischen Anforderungen sowie die Anforderungen an das Geräuschverhalten von Kugelhähnen,
- die Prüfverfahren, mit denen die Erfüllung der Anforderungen an Kugelhähne nachgewiesen wird,
die Anforderungen an die Kennzeichnung von Kugelhähnen.

Robinetterie de bâtiment - Robinets d’arrêt à tournant sphérique actionnés à la main en alliage de cuivre et en acier inoxydable pour la distribution d’eau potable dans les bâtiments - Essais et exigences

Le présent document s’applique principalement aux robinets d’arrêt à tournant sphérique en alliage de cuivre et en acier inoxydable, de diamètre compris entre DN 6 et DN 100, destinés à être installés dans les bâtiments pour la distribution d’eau potable jusqu’à PN 16 et à une température maximale de distribution de 65 °C. Des écarts de température occasionnels jusqu’à 90 °C sont autorisés pendant une durée maximum de 1 h.
Les robinets d’arrêt à tournant sphérique sont classés selon leur pression nominale, à savoir PN 10 ou PN 16.
Le présent document spécifie :
- les exigences relatives aux matériaux et à la conception des robinets d’arrêt à tournant sphérique ;
- les exigences mécaniques, hydrauliques et acoustiques applicables aux robinets d’arrêt à tournant sphérique ;
