1.1 This European Standard applies to manifold pressure regulators and line pressure regulators intended for the supply of pipeline systems for the following medical gases: - oxygen; - nitrous oxide; - air for breathing; - carbon dioxide; - oxygen/nitrous oxide mixture (50/50% (v/v)); - air for driving surgical tools; - nitrogen for driving surgical tools. 1.2 This European Standard does not apply to pressure regulators for use with suction services (see EN ISO 10079-3).

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für Hauptstellendruckregler und Leitungsdruckminderer zur Versorgung von Rohrleitungssystemen für folgende medizinische Gase: - Sauerstoff; - Lachgas; - Luft für Beatmungßwecke; Kohlenstoffdioxid; - Sauerstoff-/Lachgasgemisch (50/50 % (V/V)); - Luft zum Betreiben chirurgischer Werkzeuge; Stickstoff zum Betreiben chirurgischer Werkzeuge. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für Druckminderer zur Verwendung mit Absaugversorgungen (siehe EN ISO 10079-3).
Détendeurs pour l'utilisation avec les gaz médicaux - Partie 2: Détendeurs de rampes et de canalisations
La présente norme européenne s'applique aux détendeurs de rampes et aux détendeurs de canalisations destinés à alimenter les réseaux de distribution des gaz médicaux suivants: - l'oxygène; - le protoxyde d'azote; - l'air respirable; - le dioxyde de carbone; - un mélange oxygène/protoxyde d'azote (50/50% (v/v)); - l'air pour les instruments chirurgicaux; - l'azote pour les instruments chirurgicaux. La présente norme européenne ne s'applique pas aux détendeurs utilisés avec les systèmes d'aspiration (voir EN ISO 10079-3).
