Sealed parcel delivery systems covered by this European Standard is for bottom loaded transport tanks.
The systems specified by this European Standard are suitable for use with liquid petroleum products and other dangerous substances of Class 3 of ADR which have a vapour pressure not exceeding 110 kPa at 50 °C and petrol, and which have no sub-classification as toxic or corrosive.

Diese Europäische Norm gilt für versiegelte Transportsysteme, die an Transporttanks eingesetzt werden. Sie legt Leistungsanforderungen, kritische Sicherheitsaspekte, Verfahren der Datenübertragung zwischen Ladebühnen und Transporttank sowie zwischen Transporttank und Lieferstellen und weitere wahlfreie Kommunikationsmöglichkeiten und Prüfungen fest, womit funktionsfähige und kompatible Systeme geschaf-fen werden können.
Die durch diese Europäische Norm abgedeckten versiegelten Transportsysteme sind für Transporttanks mit Untenbefüllung vorgesehen.
Die in dieser Europäischen Norm festgelegten Systeme sind für den Einsatz bei flüssigen Mineralölerzeugnissen und weiteren gefährlichen Stoffen der Klasse 3 nach ADR geeignet, deren Dampfdruck bei 50 °C 110 kPa nicht überschreitet, sowie Ottokraftstoff, und die nicht als toxisch oder korrosiv eingestuft sind.
