Guidelines for the application of LAC-components in structures

This document provides guidelines for the application of reinforced LAC 1) components according to EN 1520 in building structures and covers the following types of structural components: - loadbearing wall components (solid); - roof components (solid, hollow core and multilayer); - floor components (solid, hollow core and multilayer); - linear components (beams and piers) and the following types of non-structural components: - non-loadbearing wall components (partition walls); - cladding components. LAC components are industrially manufactured individual parts. A combined action of these parts requires usually the aid of non LAC materials (e.g. reinforcement, metal plates, fixings, anchorages, adhesives, mortar, concrete). The application covers aspects of: - material properties; - design of joints;
- design with components; - means of anchorage or fixtures; - construction and workmanship. The design rules for the LAC components are defined in EN 1520, annex A (Design by calculation) and EN 1520, annex B (Design by testing).

Richtlinien für die Anwendung von LAC-Bauteilen in Bauwerken

Dieses Dokument enthält Richtlinien für die Anwendung von bewehrten LAC-Bauteilen 1) nach EN 1520 in Bauwerken und befaßt sich mit den folgenden Arten von tragenden Bauteilen: - tragende Wandbauteile (massiv); - Dachbauteile (massiv, mit Hohlräumen im Kern und mehrschichtig); - Deckenbauteile (massiv, mit Hohlräumen im Kern und mehrschichtig); - stabförmige Bauteile (Balken und Pfeiler)
sowie den folgenden Arten von nichttragenden Bauteilen: - nichttragende Wandbauteile (Trennwände); - Bauteile für Verkleidungen.
LAC-Bauteile sind werkmäßig hergestellte Einzelbauteile. Ein Zusammenwirken dieser Bauteile erfordert üblicherweise die Mitverwendung von anderen, nicht aus LAC bestehenden Materialien (z.B. Bewehrung, Metallplatten, Befestigungen, Verankerungen, Kleber, Mörtel,
Beton). Folgende Punkte werden behandelt: - Materialeigenschaften; - Bemessung von Fugen; - Bemessung mit Bauteilen; - Verankerungs- und Befestigungsmittel; - Konstruktion und handwerkliche Ausführung. Die Bemessungsregeln für LAC-Bauteile sind definiert in EN 1520, Anhang A (Bemessung auf rechnerischem Wege) und EN 1520, Anhang B (Bemessung auf versuchsmäßigem Wege).
