This European Standard specifies the requirements for sharp edge-notch tensile testing for sheet and strip for aerospace applications.
It shall be applied when referred to in the EN Technical Specification or material standard unless otherwise specified on the drawing, order or inspection schedule.

Sofern nicht in der Zeichnung, der Bestellung oder in der Prüfanweisung anderweitig angegeben, ist sie anzuwenden, wenn in einer Europäischen Werkstoffnorm oder Norm für Technische Lieferbedingungen auf sie verwiesen wird.

Elle doit être appliquée lorsqu’elle est citée en référence dans la spécification technique ou la norme de matériau EN sauf indication contraire indiquée sur le dessin, commande ou programme de contrôle.
