Non-destructive testing of welds - Phased array ultrasonic testing (PAUT) - Acceptance levels (ISO 19285:2017)

ISO 19285:2017 specifies acceptance levels for the phased array ultrasonic testing technique (PAUT) of full penetration welds in ferritic steels of minimum thickness of 6 mm which correspond to the quality levels of ISO 5817.
These acceptance levels are applicable to indications classified in accordance with ISO 13588.

Dieses Dokument legt Zulässigkeitsgrenzen fest für die Ultraschallprüftechnik mit Phased-Arrays (PAUT) von vollständigen Durchschweißungen in ferritischen Stählen mit einer Mindestdicke von 6 mm, welche den Gütestufen der ISO 5817 entsprechen.
Diese Zulässigkeitsgrenzen sind auf die nach ISO 13588 eingestuften Anzeigen anwendbar.

Ces niveaux d'acceptation sont applicables à des indications classées conformément à l'ISO 13588.

This document (EN ISO 19285:2017) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 44 “Welding
and allied processes” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 121 “Welding and allied
processes” the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an
identical text or by endorsement, at the latest by March 2018, and conflicting national standards shall
be withdrawn at the latest by March 2018.

Foreword
