This standard specifies a method for determining the pressure loss and fluid flow rate through valves in piping systems using water as a test fluid. This method is suitable: - for valves with low dzeta values but higer than 0,1 by determining pressure loss, with respect to fluid flow rate and density; - and to valves with equal inlet and outlet nominal sizes. Note 1: Industrial- process control valves are tested to EN 60534-2-3.

Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Druckverlustes und der Durchflußmenge durch Armaturen in Rohrleitungssystemen fest, wobei Wasser als Prüfmedium verwendet wird. Dieses Verfahren ist geeignet: - für Armaturen mit niedrigen Zeta-Werten, jedoch über 0,1, indem der Druckverlust in Abhängigkeit von der Durchflußmenge und Dichte des Prüfmediums bestimmt wird; - und für Armaturen mit gleichen Nennweiten auf der Ein- und Austrittsseite. Anmerkung 1: Industriestellgeräte werden nach EN 60534-2-3 geprüft.

La présente norme européenne spécifie une méthode de détermination de perte de charge et de débit de fluide au travers des appareils de robinetterie installés en conduite en utilisant l'eau comme fluide d'essai. Cette méthode est applicable: - aux appareils de robinetterie à faible zéta, mais plus grand que 0,1 par détermination de la perte de charge, en fonction du débit et de la densité du fluide; - et aux appareils de robinetterie dont les diamètres nominaux d'entrée et de sortie sont identiques. Note 1: Les robinets de régulation de procédés industriels sont testés selon l'EN 60534-2-3.
