This part of EN 351 provides guidance on the general procedures used in obtaining samples of preservative-treated wood to determine the penetration and retention of wood preservative.
This part of EN 351 is applicable for the production of preservative-treated solid wood, including glued laminated timber, suitable for use in those service conditions defined by the use classes in EN 335-1. However, the sampling guidance provided within this part of EN 351 may be applied for the subsequent examination of treated wood in service.

Dieser Teil von EN 351 stellt einen Leitfaden der allgemein anzuwendenden Arbeitsweisen dar, die bei der Herstellung von Proben aus mit Holzschutzmitteln behandeltem Holz anzuwenden sind, um die Eindringtiefe und Aufnahme des Holzschutzmittels zu bestimmen.
Dieser Teil von EN 351 gilt für mit Holzschutzmitteln behandeltes Vollholz einschließlich verleimten Schicht¬pressholzes, das für die Bedingungen geeignet ist, die bei einer Anwendung entsprechend den in EN 335 1 definierten Gebrauchsklassen auftreten. Der in diesem Teil von EN 351 vorgelegte Leitfaden zur Probenent¬nahme darf jedoch auch auf nachfolgende Untersuchungen des im Gebrauch befindlichen behandelten Holzes angewendet werden.

La présente partie de l’EN 351 donne des indications sur les modes opératoires généraux d’échantillonnage du bois massif traité avec un produit de préservation en vue de déterminer la pénétration et la rétention du produit de préservation du bois.
La présente partie de l’EN 351 est destinée à l’obtention de bois massif traité , y compris du bois lamellé collé, qui convienne à son usage dans les situations de service précisées par les classes d’emploi de l’EN 335-1. Cependant le guide d’échantillonnage donné dans la présente partie de l’EN 351 peut s’appliquer par la suite à l’examen du bois traité en service.
