This European Standard specifies requirements for five types of textile reinforced rubber hoses and hose assemblies of diameter from 5 mm to 100 mm. They are suitable for use with: - Hydraulic fluids in accordance with ISO 6743-4 with the exception of HFD R, HFD S and HFD T at temperatures ranging from -40°C to 100°C; - Water fluids at temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C; - Water at temperatures ranging from 0°C to +70°C. The Standard does not include requirements for end fittings. It is limited to the performance of hoses and hose assemblies.

Die Norm enthält keine Anforderungen an die Armaturen. Sie beschränkt sich auf die Leistungsfähigkeit der Schläuche und Schlauchleitungen.

La présente Norme Européenne spécifie les exigences pour cinq types de tuyaux et flexibles à armature tressée de fils métalliques, dont les diamètres nominaux vont de 5 mm à 100 mm. Ils sont destinés à être utilisés avec: - les fluides hydrauliques selon ISO 6743-4 à l'exception des HFD R, HFD S et HFD T selon une plage de température de -40 °C à +100 °C; - les fluides aqueux selon une plage de température de -40 °C à +70 °C; - l'eau selon une plage de température de 0 °C à +70°C. La norme ne contient pas des exigences sur les raccords. Elle se limite aux performances des tuyaux et flexibles.
