Glued laminated timber - Performance requirements and minimum production requirements
This standard specifies in part requirements for the components of glued laminated timber members, in part minimum requirements for the production of such members for structural use. The standard is applicable to products with a finished lamination thickness of not more than 45 mm. Although most glued laminated timber is made from coniferous species this standard also applies to broad leaved species if information is available to enable them to be satisfactily bonded.

Diese Norm legt zum Teil Anforderungen an die Bestandteile von Bauteilen aus Brettschichtholz und zum Teil Mindestanforderungen an die Herstellung solcher Bauteile für tragende Zwecke fest. Diese Norm gilt nur für Produkte mit einer fertigen Lamellendicke von höchstens 45 mm. Obwohl Brettschichtholz meistens aus Nadelhölzern hergestellt wird, gilt diese Norm auch für Laubhölzer, sofern Angaben über die Anforderungen hinsichtlich einer ausreichenden Verleimung vorliegen.

La présente norme spécifie, en partie des exigences concernant les éléments de structure en bois lamellé collé, en partie des prescriptions relatives à la fabrication de ces éléments structurels. La présente norme s'applique aux éléments produits avec des lamelles dont l'épaisseur finie est inférieure ou égale à 45 mm. Bien que la plupart des bois lamellés collés soient fabriqués à partir d'essences résineuses, ces prescriptions sont également applicables à desessences de feuillus à condition que l'on dispose des données nécessaires pour pouvoir réaliser des assemblages collés satisfaisants.
