EN ISO 8094:2013 (ISO 8094:2013) specifies a laboratory test method for determining the adhesion strength of the cover to the core layer of steel cord conveyor belts. Applied exclusively to steel cord conveyor belts, the standard defines specimen preparation, test apparatus, test conditions and the calculation and reporting of adhesion strength results. EN ISO 8094:2013 is the CEN-adopted version of ISO 8094:2013 and supersedes earlier regional documents.

  • Test report must reference ISO 8094 and include belt identification, specimen width, adhesion results for top and bottom covers and any non‑standard test details or events.

This document (EN ISO 8094:2013) has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 41 “Pulleys and belts
(including veebelts)” in collaboration with Technical Committee CEN/TC 188 “Conveyor belts” the secretariat
of which is held by SNV.
