This pressure equilibrium can be achieved by using an equalising device or by creating an open space area in the separation partition wall, which dimensions shall be calculated for the maximum airflow of the unit to be tested. If an open space is created in the partition wall, an air sampling device or several temperature sensors shall be used to measure the temperature of the air from the outdoor compartment to the indoor compartment.
