Diese Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Prüfung der Widerstandsfähigkeit von Rohrleitungssystemen aus Thermoplasten für Abwasserleitungen innerhalb von Gebäuden, gekennzeichnet mit "B", oder erdverlegt innerhalb der Gebäudestruktur, gekennzeichnet mit "BD" oder "UD", gegen eine Temperaturwechselbeanspruchung mit 1500 Zyklen fest.
