Factory-made double skin metal faced insulating sandwich panels - Part 1: Self-supporting applications
This document specifies characteristics of factory-made double skin metal faced insulating sandwich panels for use in elements for self-supporting applications in roofs, in external and internal walls (including partitions) and in ceilings in buildings (hereafter sandwich panels).
The sandwich panels consist of two faces and insulating core either by using auto-adhesive bonding technique or by using a separate adhesive layer.
The face materials covered by this document are:
- steel,
- stainless steel,
- aluminium,
NOTE Aluminium covers aluminium alloys.
- copper.
The insulating cores covered by this document are:
- rigid polyurethane (PU) (see 3.1.15);
- expanded polystyrene (EPS) (see 3.1.13);
- extruded polystyrene foam (XPS) (see 3.1.14);
- phenolic foam (PF) (see 3.1.12);
- mineral wool (MW) (see 3.1.11).
For sandwich panels, the coating of faces is either organic and/or metallic coating.
This document specifies procedures for assessment and verification of constancy (AVCP) of performance of characteristics of sandwich panels.
This document does not cover the following:
- sandwich panels consisting of two or more clearly defined layers of different insulating cores (multi-layered);
- sandwich panels consisting of more than one metal sheet per face;
- curved sandwich panels;
- sandwich panels with perforated faces;
- fasteners and fixings;
- sandwich panels, placed on the market as a part of clean room kits, conditioning room kits, cold storage room kits and cold storage building envelope and building kits.
Werkmäßig hergestellte Sandwich-Elemente mit beidseitigen Metalldeckschichten - Teil 1: Selbsttragende Anwendungen
Dieses Dokument legt Merkmale von werkmäßig hergestellten Sandwichelementen mit beidseitigen Metalldeckschichten für die Verwendung in Elementen für selbsttragende Anwendung in Dächern, Innen- und Außenwänden (einschließlich Trennwänden) und in Decken in Gebäuden (im Folgenden: Sandwichelemente) fest.
Die Sandwichelemente bestehen aus zwei Deckschichten und einem Dämmkern, die entweder durch Selbstklebetechnik oder durch eine separate Klebeschicht miteinander verbunden sind.
Die in diesem Dokument behandelten Deckschichtwerkstoffe sind:
- Stahl;
- nichtrostender Stahl;
- Aluminium;
ANMERKUNG Aluminium umfasst auch Aluminiumlegierungen.
- Kupfer.
Die in diesem Dokument behandelten Dämmkerne sind:
- Polyurethan-Hartschaum (PU) (siehe 3.1.15);
- expandiertes Polystyrol (EPS) (siehe 3.1.13);
- extrudierter Polystyrol-Hartschaum (XPS) (siehe 3.1.14);
- Phenolharzschaum (PF) (siehe 3.1.12);
- Mineralwolle (MW) (siehe 3.1.11).
Die Deckschichten von Sandwichelementen sind organisch und/oder metallisch beschichtet.
Dieses Dokument legt Verfahren zur Bewertung und Überprüfung der Leistungsbeständigkeit (AVCP) der Merkmale von Sandwichelementen fest.
Dieses Dokument gilt nicht für:
- Sandwichelemente, die aus zwei oder mehr eindeutig festgelegten Schichten unterschiedlicher Dämmkerne bestehen (Mehrschicht-Produkte);
- Sandwichelemente, die aus mehr als einer Blechtafel pro Deckschicht bestehen;
- gekrümmte Sandwichelemente;
- Sandwichelemente mit perforierten Deckschichten;
- Verbindungselemente und Befestigungsmittel;
- Sandwichelemente, die als Teil von Sätzen für Reinräume, Konditionierungsräume, Kühlräume sowie Kühlhäuser und deren Gebäudehülle in Verkehr gebracht werden.

Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques des panneaux sandwiches manufacturés isolants double peau à parements métalliques destinés à être utilisés dans les éléments pour applications autoportantes dans les toitures, les parois extérieures et intérieures (y compris les cloisons) et les plafonds dans les bâtiments (ci-après dénommés panneaux sandwiches).
Les panneaux sandwiches sont composés de deux parements et d'une âme isolante, assemblés soit au moyen d'une technique de collage auto-adhésif ou à l'aide d'une couche de colle séparée.
Les matériaux de parement couverts dans le présent document sont :
- l'acier,
- l'acier inoxydable,
- l'aluminium,
NOTE « Aluminium » couvre les alliages d'aluminium.
- le cuivre.
Les âmes isolantes couvertes dans le présent document sont :
- le polyuréthane rigide (PU) (voir 3.1.15) ;
- le polystyrène expansé (EPS) (voir 3.1.13) ;
- la mousse de polystyrène extrudé (XPS) (voir 3.1.14) ;
- la mousse phénolique (PF) (voir 3.1.12) ;
- la laine minérale (MW) (voir 3.1.11).
Pour les panneaux sandwiches, le revêtement des parements peut être organique et/ou métallique.
Le présent document spécifie les procédures d'évaluation et de vérification de la constance (AVCP) des performances des caractéristiques des panneaux sandwiches.
Le présent document ne couvre pas ce qui suit :
- panneaux sandwiches comportant deux couches, ou plus, clairement définies de différentes âmes (multicouches) ;
- panneaux sandwiches comportant plus d'une tôle par parement ;
- panneaux sandwiches cintrés ;
- panneaux sandwiches à parement perforé ;
- attaches et fixations ;
- panneaux sandwiches, mis sur le marché comme composants de kits de salle blanche, kits de salle de conditionnement, kits de chambre d'entreposage frigorifique et kits d'enveloppe de bâtiment et de bâtiments d'entreposage frigorifique.
