This  document specifies the characteristics of UV laser printable electrical lightweight wires DR family for use in the on-board up to 115 V (phase to neutral) or 200 V (phase to phase) AC and 28 Vdc and electrical systems of aircraft at operating temperatures between  65 °C and 260 °C. These cables are demonstrated to be arc resistant in sizes AWG 26 to 14 (115/200 Vac).
In addition, these cables may be suitable for use up to 230/400 Vac in pressurised zones only when installed to take account of possible short circuit effects.
Other electrical system configurations is the responsibility of the users.

Le présent document spécifie les caractéristiques des câbles électriques légers, marquables au laser UV, de la famille DR utilisés dans les systèmes électriques de bord des aéronefs jusqu'à 115 Vca (entre phase et neutre) ou 200 Vca (entre phases) et 28 Vcc à des températures de fonctionnement comprises entre   65 °C et 260 °C. Ces câbles de taille 26 à 14 AWG (115/200 Vca) ont démontré leurs résistances aux arcs électriques.
De plus, ces câbles peuvent être utilisés pour des tensions jusqu'à 230/400 Vca dans les zones pressurisées, uniquement quand l’installation tient compte des effets possibles des courts circuits.

Ta evropski standard določa karakteristike družine električnih kablov z možnostjo UV-laserskega tiskanja iz družine DR za uporabo na krovu v električnih sistemih letala z največ 115 V (faza, zvezana z nevtralno napetostjo) ali 200 V (faza, zvezana s fazo) in 28 V DC pri temperaturi delovanja med – 65 °C in 260 °C. Ti kabli so dokazano odporni proti obloku v velikostih od 26 do 14 AWG (115/200 V AC).
