Overview

EN 4529-001:2006 is a European aerospace standard published by CEN (prepared by AECMA-STAN) that defines the technical specification for sealing plugs used in elements of electrical and optical connection. The standard sets out the electrical, mechanical, environmental and dimensional characteristics of sealing plugs, plus the conditions for qualification, acceptance testing and quality assurance, and the required test programmes and groups.

• Marking, packaging & storage: Marking is optional (manufacturer’s mark allowed); packaging must protect parts and include identification labels; storage must be UV-free and inspected every five years per EN 2591-101.
