This European Standard applies to heat meters, that is to instruments intended for measuring the heat which, in a heat-exchange circuit, is absorbed or given up by a liquid called the heat-conveying liquid. The heat meter indicates the quantity of heat in legal units. Electric safety requirements are not covered by this standard. Meters with surface mounted temperature sensors are not yet included in this standard. Part 2 covers constructional requirements.
Wärmezähler - Teil 2: Anforderungen an die Konstruktion
Diese europäische Norm bezieht sich auf Wärmezähler, d.h. auf Geräte, die für das Messen der Wärme bestimmt sind, die in einem Wärmetauscher- Kreislauf durch einen flüssigen Wärmeträger aufgenommen oder abgegeben wird. Der Zähler zeigt die Wärme in gesetzlichen Einheiten an. Elektrische Sicherheitsanforderungen werden durch diese Norm nicht erfasst. Zähler mit Oberflächen-Temperaturfühlern sind noch in diese Norm eingeschlossen. Dieser Teil 2 befasst sich mit den Konstrukionsanforderungen.

La présente norme européenne s'applique aux compteurs d'énergie thermique, c'est-à-dire aux instruments destinés à mesurer l'énergie thermique qui, dans un circuit d'échange thermique, est cédée ou absorbée par un liquide répondant à l'appellation de "liquide caloporteur". Le compteur fournit la quantité d'énergie thermique en unités de mesure légales. La présente norme ne traite pas des prescriptions de sécurité électrique. Elle ne couvre pas les compteurs équipés de sondes de température montées en surface. Cette partie 2 traite des prescriptions de construction.
