This Part of this European Prestandard describes a substitute procedure for the determination of overall migration into olive oil from articles which are intended to come into contact with foodstuffs at elevated temperatures from 100°C up to and including 175°C. In order to circumvent a number of analytical difficulties caused by the food simulant olive oil at high temperatures the mass of components adsorbed on modified polyphenylene oxide (MPPO) is taken as a measure for the assessment of the overall migration into olive oil.

Dieser Teil der vorliegenden Europäischen Vornorm beschreibt ein Ersatzverfahren zur Bestimmung der Gesamtmigration in Olivenöl aus Gegenständen, die für den Kontakt mit Lebensmitteln bei erhöhten Temperaturen von 100°C bis einschließlich 175°C vorgesehen sind. Um eine Reihe von analytischen Schwierigkeiten zu umgehen, die durch das Prüflebensmittel Olivenöl bei hohen Temperaturen verursacht werden, wird die Masse der Bestandteile, die an modifiziertem Polyphenylenoxid (MPPO) absorbiert wird, als Maß zum Nachweis der Gesamtmigration in Olivenöl genommen.

La présente partie de cette prénorme européenne décrit un mode opératoire de substitution pour la détermination de la migration globale dans l'huile d'olive d'objets destinés à entrer en contact avec les denrées alimentaires à des températures élevées comprises entre 100°C et 175°C inclus. Afin d'éviter un certain nombre de difficultés d'analyse dues à l'utilisation de l'huile d'olive à hautes températures comme simulant, la masse des composants absorbée sur l'oxyde de polyphénylène modifié (MPPO) est considérée comme une mesure pour l'évaluation de la migration globale dans l'huile d'olive.
