Mobile road construction machinery - Safety - Part 1: Common requirements

1.1   This part of EN 500 specifies the common safety requirements for mobile road construction machinery ). The EN 500 series is applicable to mobile road construction machinery as listed in Annex A. When no specific standard exists, EN 500-1 applies.
It specifies common requirements for the design and construction of mobile road construction machinery in order to protect workers from accidents and health hazards which could occur during operation, loading, transport and maintenance.
Additional specific requirements for certain types of mobile road construction machinery are given in parts 2 to 4 and 6 of this standard.
This part of this standard gives safety requirements for all types of mobile road construction machinery and shall be used in conjunction with one of the parts 2 to 4 and 6. These machine-specific parts do not repeat the requirements from part 1 but add to or replace the requirements for the type of mobile road construction machinery in question.
Machine-specific requirements in parts 2 to 4 and 6 take precedence over the respective requirements of this stan-dard.
For types of mobile road construction machinery not dealt with in parts 2 to 4 and 6, EN 500-1 applies and if for those machinery additional derived risks may arise, these risks have to be taken into consideration.
1.2   This European Standard deals with all significant hazards, hazardous situations and events relevant to mobile road construction machinery, when they are used as intended and under conditions of misuse which are reasonably foreseeable (see Clause 4).
This European Standard specifies the appropriate technical measures to eliminate or reduce risks arising from the significant hazards as specified in Clause 4.
1.3   This European Standard applies to machines which are manufactured after the date of publication of this European Standard by CEN.

Bewegliche Straßenbaumaschinen - Sicherheit - Teil 1: Gemeinsame Anforderungen

1.1 Dieser Teil von EN 500 legt die gemeinsamen Sicherheitsanforderungen für bewegliche Straßenbaumaschinen
1 ) fest. Die EN 500er-Reihe gilt für bewegliche Straßenbaumaschinen, wie sie im Anhang A
aufgelistet sind. Wenn keine besondere Norm vorhanden ist, gilt EN 500-1.
Sie beschreibt gemeinsame Anforderungen für die Gestaltung und Konstruktion von beweglichen Straßenbaumaschinen,
um Beschäftigte vor Unfällen und Gesundheitsgefahren zu schützen, die beim Betrieb, beim
Verladen, beim Transportieren und bei Wartungsarbeiten auftreten können.
Für bestimmte Arten von beweglichen Straßenbaumaschinen sind ergänzende besondere Sicherheitsanforderungen
in den Teilen 2 bis 4 und 6 dieser Norm festgelegt.
Dieser Teil dieser Norm beschreibt Sicherheitsanforderungen für alle Arten von beweglichen Straßenbaumaschinen
und muss zusammen mit einem der Teile 2 bis 4 und 6 angewendet werden. Diese maschinenspezifischen
Teile wiederholen nicht die Anforderungen von Teil 1, sondern ergänzen bzw. ersetzen die
Anforderungen für die jeweilige Art der beweglichen Straßenbaumaschine.
Die maschinenspezifischen Anforderungen in den Teilen 2 bis 4 und 6 haben Vorrang vor den entsprechenden
Anforderungen in dieser Norm.
Für bewegliche Straßenbaumaschinenarten, die nicht in den Teilen 2 bis 4 und 6 der EN 500 behandelt
werden, gilt EN 500-1, !und falls für diese Maschinen zusätzliche, artverwandte Risiken entstehen können,
müssen diese Risiken berücksichtigt werden."
1.2 Diese Norm behandelt alle signifikanten Gefährdungen, Gefährdungssituationen und Gefährdungsereignisse,
die auf bewegliche Straßenbaumaschinen zutreffen, wenn sie bestimmungsgemäß verwendet
werden. Die nach vernünftigem Ermessen für den Hersteller vorhersehbare Nutzung der Maschine außerhalb
der bestimmungsgemäßen Verwendung ist ebenfalls berücksichtigt (siehe Abschnitt 4).

Machines mobiles pour la construction de routes - Sécurité - Partie 1: Prescriptions communes

1.1   La présente partie de l’EN 500 spécifie les prescriptions communes de sécurité pour les machines mobiles pour la construction de routes  ). La série des EN 500 concerne les machines mobiles pour la construction de routes figurant dans l’Annexe A. En l’absence de norme spécifique, l'EN 500-1 s’applique.
Elle spécifie les prescriptions générales de conception et de fabrication des machines mobiles pour la construction de routes, en vue de protéger les opérateurs des accidents et des atteintes à la santé qui pourraient survenir pendant l’utilisation, le chargement, le transport et la maintenance.
Des prescriptions spécifiques supplémentaires sont données pour certains types de machines mobiles pour la construction de routes dans les parties 2 à 4 et 6 de cette norme.
La présente partie de norme fournit les prescriptions générales de sécurité pour tous les types de machines mobiles pour la construction de routes et doit être utilisée avec l’une des parties 2 à 4 et 6. Ces parties spécifiques à un type de machine ne répètent pas les prescriptions de la Partie 1, mais ajoutent ou modifient certaines prescriptions pour le type de machine en question.
Les prescriptions des parties 2 à 4 et 6 spécifiques à un type de machine ont priorité sur les prescriptions correspondantes de la présente norme.

Ta del EN 500 opredeljuje skupne varnostne zahteve za premične stroje za gradnjo cest 1. Niz EN 500 velja za premične stroje za gradnjo cest, kot so našteti v Dodatku A. Kadar ne obstaja poseben standard, velja EN 500-1. Opredeljuje skupne zahteve za načrtovanje in izdelavo premičnih strojev za gradnjo cest, z namenom zaščite delavcev pred nesrečami in nevarnostmi za zdravje, do katerih bi lahko prišlo med obratovanjem, natovarjanjem, prevozom in vzdrževanjem. Dodatne posebne zahteve za določene vrste premičnih strojev za gradnjo cest so podane v delih od 2 do 4 in v 6. delu tega standarda.
