Ta evropski standard opisuje funkcionalnost, omejitve, delovanje in obratovanje zavornega sistema, ki se uporablja na vlakih za visoke hitrosti, kot je opisano v TSI Železniška vozila za visoke hitrosti, ki obratujejo na progah evropskih železnic in njihovih infrastrukturnih sistemih.
