This standard specifies the essential procedures to be followed when connecting cylinder valves to gas cylinders. It applies to all valve and cylinder combinations connected with screw threads detailed in annex A but excludes breathing apparatus, diving gas cylinders and fire extinguishers. It defines routines for inspection and preparation prior to valving for both taper and parallel screw threads. Torque values are given in annex A for steel and aluminium gas cylinders.
Ortsbewegliche Gasflaschen - Verbindung zwischen Ventilen und Gasflaschen (ISO 13341:1997)
Diese Norm legt die wesentlichen Verfahren fest, die beim Anschluß von Flaschenventilen an Gasflaschen zu beachten sind. Sie gilt für alle Ventil- und Flaschenverbindungen, die mit Gewinde nach Anhang A verbunden sind, schließt aber Atemgeräte, Tauchgeräte und Feuerlöscher aus. Sie definiert das Vorgehen bei der Prüfung und Vorbereitung vor dem Anschluß bei kegeligen sowie zylindrischen Gewinden. Werte für Drehmomente von Gasflaschen aus Stahl und ALuminium sind in Anhang A angegeben.

La présente norme prescrit le mode opératoire essentiel à suivre pour monter des robinets sur des bouteilles à gaz. Elle s'applique à toutes les combinaisons de robinets et de bouteilles munis des types de filetages détaillés dans l'annexe A, mais exclut tous les appareils respiratoires, les bouteilles de plongée et les extincteurs. Elle définit les opérations de vérification et de préparation à réaliser avant le montage d'un robinet à filetage conique ou parallèle. Des valeurs de couples de serrage sont données dans l'annexe A pour les bouteilles en acier et en aluminium.
