This European Standard specifies common requirements for resin-bound concrete used in the fabrication of precast concrete products. It is intended to be used when preparing documents for resin-bound concrete products.

Examples for the use of resin-bound concrete are: street furniture and garden products, decorative elements, structural elements, window sills, machine tool structures, elements for fence, animal troughs and slats, etc.
This standard is not applicable to polymer-modified or impregnated mortar and concrete (only PC not PCC or SPCC).

Diese Europäische Norm legt die allgemeinen Anforderungen für Kunstharzbeton, der für die Herstellung von
vorgefertigten Betonerzeugnissen verwendet wird, fest. Sie soll bei der Erstellung von Dokumenten für
Erzeugnisse aus Kunstharzbeton angewendet werden.
Produktnormen für Kunstharzbeton legen bestimmte zusätzliche, nicht in dieser Norm vorhandene Anforderungen
fest. Grenzwerte werden in den Produktnormen angegeben.
Beispiele für die Verwendung von Kunstharzbeton sind: Straßenmöbel und Gartengestaltungselemente,
Dekorationselemente, Fensterbrüstungen, Unterbauten von Werkzeugmaschinen, Zaunelemente, Futtertröge
und Steglatten usw.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für polymermodifizierten oder imprägnierten Mörtel bzw. Beton (nur PC, nicht jedoch
PCC oder SPCC).

La présente Norme européenne spécifie les prescriptions communes pour le béton de résine utilisé dans la
fabrication de produits préfabriqués en béton. Elle est destinée à être utilisée lors de l’élaboration de
documents relatifs aux produits en béton de résine.
Les normes de produits en béton de résine définiront des prescriptions particulières pouvant être
complémentaires à celles données dans le présent document. Les normes de produits prescriront des valeurs
limites pour certaines caractéristiques.
Ci-après, quelques exemples d’utilisation du béton de résine : mobilier urbain et de jardin, éléments
décoratifs, appuis de fenêtre, bâtis de machines-outils, éléments de clôtures, mangeoires et caillebotis pour le
bétail, etc.
La présente norme n’est pas applicable aux bétons et aux mortiers à liant mixte résine/ciment ainsi qu’aux
bétons et mortiers imprégnés de polymère à l’état durci (elle s'applique donc uniquement aux PC, et non aux
PCC ou SPCC).

General suitability is established for aggregates conforming to EN 12620. Aggregates shall not contain harmful constituents in such quantities as may be detrimental to the curing, strength, and durability of the polymer concrete. The size of particles in aggregates shall not exceed 1/3 of the smallest thickness of the product. 4.2.1.2 Grading The aggregate grading shall be determined according to 5.1.1.1. 4.2.1.3 Water content When required, the water content of the aggregates shall be determined according to 5.1.1.2. 4.2.2 Filler General suitability is established for mineral fillers conforming to EN 12620.
