This standard applies to pipes and fittings of longitudinally welded stainless steel pipes with spigot and socket for waste water systems. It specifies dimensions and tolerances for pipes, fittings and pipe connectors and establishes a system of designations for the different pipe and fitting types that conform to the stated requirements. This standard is only valid in connection with prEN 1124-1. This standard does not apply to the marking of products. prEN 1124-1 applies to the marking.

Elle indique les dimensions et tolérances pour tubes, raccords et manchons et contient, pour l'identification simple de chaque élément de construction, un système pour la désignation des types différents de tubes et raccords qui correspondent aux exigences déterminées. La présente norme n'est valable qu'en liaison avec le prEN 1124-1. Cette norme ne s'applique pas au marquage de produits. A cela s'applique le prEN 1124-1.
