This European standard specifies methods for sampling adhesives and related products, in order to obtain uniform samples of convenient size being adequately representative of the product being sampled. The sample or samples so obtained are suitable for examination and preparation prior to testing. This method applies to products which can need addition and mixing of catalysts or hardeners prior to their application, by sampling each component separately.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Verfahren zur Probenahme von Klebstoffen und verwandten Produkten mit dem Ziel fest, einheitliche Proben passender Größe zu erhalten, die die Produkte, denen Proben entnommen werden, eindeutig repräsentieren. Die entnommene(n) Probe(n) müssen sich zur Untersuchung und Vorbereitung vor ihrer Prüfung eignen. Dieses Verfahren lässt sich für Produkte anwenden, die vor Gebrauch die Zugabe oder das Einmischen eines Katalysators oder Vernetzers erfordern, wobei von jeder Komponente getrennt Proben zu entnehmen sind.

La présente norme européenne prescrit des méthodes pour l'échantillonnage des adhésifs et produits assimilés, permettant d'obtenir des échantillons uniformes de dimensions convenables représentatifs du produit soumis à l'échantillonnage. L'échantillon ou les échantillons ainsi obtenus conviennent pour l'examen et la préparation avant essai. Cette méthode s'applique également aux produits pouvant nécessiter avant application une addition ou un mélange de catalyseurs ou de durcisseurs, au moyen d'un échantillonnage séparé de chaque composant.
