Trenchless construction and testing of drains and sewers
This European Standard is applicable to the trenchless construction and testing of new drains and new sewers in the ground, which are normally operating as gravity pipelines, formed using prefabricated pipes and their joints. The trenchless construction and testing of drains and sewers operating under pressure is also covered by this European Standard together with prEN 805 as appropriate. This European Standard also applies to trenchless replacement techniques. Renovation techniques for existing sewers and drains are not covered by this European Standard.
Grabenlose Verlegung und Prüfung von Abwasserleitungen und -kanälen
Diese Europäische Norm gilt für die grabenlose Verlegung und Prüfung neuer Abwasserleitungen und -kanäle mit vorgefertigten Rohren und deren Verbindungen, die üblicherweise als Schwerkraftentwässerungssysteme betrieben werden. Die grabenlose Verlegung und Prüfung von Abwasserleitungen und -kanälen, die unter Druck betrieben werden, wird auch durch diese Europäische Norm, und, wo erforderlich, in prEN 805 geregelt. Diese Europäische Norm gilt auch für grabenlose Erneuerungsverfahren.

La présente Norme Européenne s'applique à la mise en oeuvre sans tranchée et aux essais de branchements neufs et collecteurs neufs, enterrés, fonctionnant habituellement comme canalisations à écoulement libre, et utilisant des tuyaux préfabriqués ainsi que leurs assemblages. La mise en oeuvre sans tranchée et les essais des branchements et collecteurs d'assainissement fonctionnant sous pression sont aussi couverts par la présente Norme Européenne conjointement avec prEN 805, si nécessaire. La présente Norme Européenne s'applique aussi aux techniques sans tranchée de remplacement.
