This European Standard specifies laboratory methods for testing flowrate and noise production of exhaust and supply air terminal devices operating under pressure differences. It applies to devices used in mechanical systems and passive stack systems. The device may be one of the following - device with a manually adjustable opening or, - device with a fixed opening or, - pressure difference controlled device.

Diese Europäische Norm legt Laborverfahren für die Prüfung von Abluft- und Zuluftdurchlässen fest, die unter Druckdifferenzen betrieben werden.
Sie gilt für Luftdurchlässe der folgenden Typen, die in maschinellen und natürlichen Lüftungsanlagen angewendet werden:
¾ Luftdurchlässe mit manuell einstellbarer Öffnung;
¾ Luftdurchlässe mit nicht verstellbarer Öffnung;
¾ druckdifferenzgeregelte Luftdurchlässe.
Sie beschreibt Prüfungen, die für die Bestimmung folgender Größen vorgesehen sind:
¾ Volumenstrom/Druck;
¾ Luftverteilungskenngrößen (für Zuluftdurchlässe);
¾ Geräuscherzeugung durch Anlagenbauteile;
¾ Eintrittsverlust von Anlagenbauteilen.

La présente norme européenne spécifie des méthodes de laboratoire pour l'essai du débit et de l'émission de bruit des bouches d'air d'évacuation et d'alimentation fonctionnant sous des différences de pression. Elle s'applique a aux dispositifs utilisés dans des systèmes de ventilation mécanique et dans des systèmes passifs de ventilation naturelle. La bouche peut être d'un des types suivants: - dispositif avec une ouverture réglable manuellement, ou - dispositif avec une ouverture fixe, ou - dispositif piloté par la différence de pression.
