Diese Norm legt die Eigenschaften der festen Steckverbinder mit Mutternbefestigung der Familie der elektrischen Rundsteckverbinder mit Schraubkupplung fest. Sie gilt für die in Tabelle 5 festgelegten Bauformen. Für die für diesen festen Steckverbinder verwendbaren Kontakte, Blindstopfen und rückseitigen Zubehörteile, siehe EN 2997-002.
