This European Standard specifies the general performance requirements of isolating valves (gate valves, globe valves, plug and ball valves and butterfly valves) used in the production, storage, transmission (by pipeline, rail, road or sea) of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG). LNG filling valves for vehicule refuelling systems are excluded from the scope of this standard. DN range from DN 8 to DN 1000. PN range from PN 16 to PN 100. Class range from Class 150 to Class 900. Temperature range from - 196 °C to + 60 °C.

Diese Europäische Norm legt die allgemeinen Anforderungen an die Gebrauchstauglichkeit von Absperrarmaturen (Schieber, Ventile, Kegelhähne, Kugelhähne und Klappen) fest, die für die Herstellung, die Lagerung, den Transport (durch Fernleitung, Bahn, auf der Straße oder zur See) von Flüssigerdgas (LNG) verwendet werden. LNG-Füllarmaturen für Fahrzeug-Betankungsanlagen gehören nicht zum Anwendungsbereich dieser Norm. Der DN-Bereich beträgt DN 8 bis DN 1 000. Der PN-Bereich beträgt PN 16 bis PN 100. Der Class-Bereich beträgt Class 150 bis Class 900. Der Temperaturbereich umfaßt 196 °C bis + 60 °C.

Les appareils de robinetterie GNL pour les équipements de remplissage de réservoirs de véhicules sont exclus du domaine d'application de la présente norme. La gamme des DN s'étend de DN 8 à DN 1000. La gamme des PN s'étend du PN 16 au PN 100. La gamme des Class s'étend de la Class 150 à la Class 900. La gamme de température s'étend de -196°C à +60°C.
