This European Standard specifies a method for the identification of irradiation treatment of food which contains fat. It is based on the gas chromatographic detection of radiation-induced hydrocarbons (HC). The method has been tested in interlaboratory tests on raw chicken, pork and beef (1) to (4) as well as on camembert, avocado, papays and mango 5, 6.

Dieser europäischen Norm-Entwurf legt ein Verfahren für die Identifizierung e einer Strahlenbehandlung von fetthaltigen Lebensmitteln fest. Das Verfahren basiert auf dem gaschromatographischen Nachweis strahleninduzierter Kohlenwasserstoffe (KW). Es wurde in Ringversuchen an rohem Hähnchen-, Schweine- und Rindfleisch getestet (1) bis (4) wie auch Camembert, Avocado, Papaya und Mango (5), (6).

La méthode a été testée lors d'intercomparaisons effectuées sur de la viande crue de poulet, porc et boeuf (1)-(4) ainsi que sur du camenbert, avocat,papaye et mangue (5), (6).
