This European standard specifies the determination of flexibility of reinforced bitumen sheets at low temperatures. Sheets without reinforcement can also be tested using this standard. The test is carried out on the upper and lower faces of the sheet either at a predetermined temperature or successively at different temperature steps for determining the cold bending temperature which represents a limit temperature.

Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt die Bestimmung des Kaltbiegeverhaltens von Bitumenbahnen mit Trägereinlagen. Trägerlose Bahnen können auch entsprechend dieser Norm geprüft werden. Die Prüfung erfolgt an der Ober- und Unterseite der Bahn entweder bei einer vorgegebenen Temperatur oder iterativ bei verschiedenen Temperaturstufen zur Ermittlung der Kaltbiegetemperatur, welche eine Grenztemperatur darstellt.

Cette norme europénne décrit l'essai visant à déterminer le comportement au pliage à basse température des feuilles d'étanchéité avec armature. Elle permet également d'essayer les feuilles d'étanchéité non armées. L'essai est effectué sur la face supérieure et sur la face inférieure de la feuille bitumineuse, soit à une température precrite, soit de manière répétée à différents niveaux de température, afin de déterminer la température de pliage à froid qui représente une température limite.
