Railway applications - Closing and locking devices for payload protecting devices against environmental influences - Requirements for durability, operation, indication, maintenance, recycling
This European Standard applies to new and upgraded freight wagons where an approval is required. These protecting devices are classified into two types of load and this standard defines the requirements for the durability of the closing and locking devices, their status indication, maintenance and recycling. This standard also defines pass-fail criteria for the dimensioning tests.
NOTE Provisions going beyond the scope of these requirements should be agreed by the contracting parties involved.
This standard is not applicable to closing and locking devices which are used to ensure a pressure difference or to retain liquids /liquid payloads. It is not applicable to vehicles which are emptied by pressure, nor is it applicable to loose tarpaulins.

Diese Norm gilt für Neubau und Umbau von Güterfahrzeugen, für die eine Genehmigung erforderlich ist.
Diese Schutzeinrichtungen werden in zwei Lastarten eingeordnet und es werden Anforderungen an die
Festigkeit der Verschlüsse und Verriegelungen, an die Erkennbarkeit des Status, Instandhaltung und
Entsorgung festgelegt. Diese Norm definiert auch die Kriterien zur Annahme und Ablehnung der Auslegungsprüfungen.
ANMERKUNG Über diese Norm hinausgehende Anforderungen sind zwischen den Vertragsparteien zu vereinbaren.
Diese Norm gilt nicht für Verschlüsse und Verriegelungen, deren Ziel es ist, eine Druckdifferenz aufrecht zu
erhalten oder flüssiges Ladegut zurückzuhalten. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Fahrzeuge, die mit Druck entladen
werden und gilt nicht für lose Planen.

La présente norme s'applique aux wagons de marchandises neufs et réaménagés pour lesquels une nouvelle
autorisation de mise en service est exigée. Ces systèmes de protection sont classés en 2 catégories et la présente
norme définit les exigences de résistance mécanique des dispositifs de fermeture et de verrouillage, leur indication
d'état, leur maintenance et leur recyclage. La présente norme définit également les critères de réussite ou d’échec
aux essais de dimensionnement.
NOTE Il convient que toute disposition allant au-delà du domaine d'application des présentes exigences fasse l'objet d'un
accord entre les parties contractantes concernées.
La présente norme ne s'applique pas aux dispositifs de fermeture et de verrouillage utilisés pour assurer un
différentiel de pression ou pour retenir des liquides ou chargements liquides. De même, elle n'est pas applicable aux
véhicules à déchargement par pression ni aux chargements protégés par des bâches amovibles.

Ta evropski standard velja za nove in nadgrajene tovorne vagone, za katere je potrebna odobritev. Te zaščitne naprave so razvrščene v dva tipa obremenitve in ta standard opredeljuje zahteve za trajnost zapiralnih in varovalnih naprav, označevanje njihovega stanja, vzdrževanje in predelavo. Ta standard opredeljuje tudi merila za uspešnost in neuspešnost preskusov dimenzioniranja. Ta standard ne velja za zapiralne in varovalne naprave, ki zagotavljajo tlačno razliko ali zadržujejo tekočine/tekoče tovore. Ne velja za vozila, ki se praznijo s tlakom, in ne velja za ohlapne ponjave.
