This European Standard describes a method for determining the effect that loaded heavy duty castors have on a resilient floor covering and its joints, as they roll and reverse. It is intended to simulate the effects of trolleys and other equipment fitted with castors, which can be used in offices and light industry. It consists of two test methods, one for the assessment of the floor surface and one for the assessment of adhesion.

In der vorliegenden Europäischen Norm wird ein Verfahren beschrieben, mit dem die Wirkung von sich hin und her bewegenden Schwerlastrollen auf elastische Bodenbeläge einschließlich der Nähte bestimmt werden kann. Dadurch soll die Wirkung von Karren oder anderen mit Rollen versehenen Wagen, wie sie in Büros und in der Leichtindustrie verwendet werden, simuliert werden. Die Norm beschreibt zwei Prüfverfahren und zwar eines zur Bewertung der Oberfläche des Bodenbelags und eines zur Bewertung der Verklebung.

La présente norme européenne décrit une méthode pour déterminer l'effet des passages allers et retours de roulettes fortement chargées sur un revêtement de sol résilient ainsi que sur ses joints. La méthode décrite est destinée à simuler les effets des chariots et des autres équipements munis de roulettes pouvant être utilisées dans les bureaux ou dans l'industrie légère. Elle est composée de deux méthodes, la première pour l'évaluation de la surface du sol et la seconde pour l'évaluation de l'adhérence.
