Diese Norm legt ein Prüfverfahren zur Ermittlung der Bruchfestigkeit. Bruchdehnung bei Bezugskraft, von Textilfördergurten bei voller Gurtdicke fest. Verfahren zur Prüfung von Fördergurten mit einer Nenn- Bruchfestigkeit über 2500 N/mm sind in Vorbereitung. Diese Norm gilt nicht für leichte Fördergurte nach EN 873.

La présente norme prescrit une méthode de détermination de la résistance et de l'allongement à la rupture par traction de courroies transporteuses à carcasse textile en pleine épaisseur. Des méthodes sont en cours d'étude pour des résistances par traction supérieures à 2500 N/mm. Elle n'est pas applicable ou valable pour les courroies transporteuses légères décrites dans l'EN 873 et elle est non appropriée aux courroies à carcasse métallique.
