This standard applies to heating boilers with burners using fans up to a nominal heat output of 300 kW. They are operated, either with negative pressure (natural draught boiler) or with positive pressure (pressurized boiler) in the combustion chamber, in accordance with the boiler manufacturer's instructions. Particular requirements for boilers which can only be used with open vents are contained in a separate document (being prepared). The requirements of this standard apply to heating boilers which are tested on an authorized test rig.

Diese Norm gilt für Heizkessel mit Gebläsebrennern bis zu einer Nennwärmeleistung von 300 kW, die nach den Festlegungen des Kesselherstellers entweder mit Unterdruck (Naturzugkessel) oder mit Überdruck (Überdruckkessel) im Brennraum betrieben werden. Für Heizkessel, die nur in offenen Anlagen betrieben werden, gelten besondere Bauanforderungen (Norm in Vorbereitung). Die Festlegungen dieser Norm gelten für Heizkessel, die auf einem anerkannten Kesselprüfstand zu prüfen sind.

Cette norme s'applique aux chaudières pour brûleurs à air soufflé jusqu'à une puissance nominale de 300 kW. Ces chaudières sont définies par le constructeur comme des chaudières en dépression (à tirage naturel) ou en pression dans la chambre de combustion (chaudières pressurisées). Pour les chaudières qui ne peuvent être utilisées qu'avec un vase d'expansion ouvert les exigences particulières de construction sont précisées séparément (en préparation). Les prescriptions de cette norme s'appliquent à des chaudières essayées sur un banc d'essai agréé.
