This European Standard specifies requirements for tolerances for hot rolled non-alloy and alloy steel plates including stainless steels, with the following characteristics: a) nominal thickness >= 3mm <=250 mm; b) nominal width >= 600 mm ; c) specified minimum yield strength > 700 N/mm2. Tolerances for products of width < 600 mm cut or slit from plate should be agreed between manufacturer and purchaser at the time of enquiry and order.

Diese Europäische Norm enthält die Anforderungen an die Grenzabmaße und Formtoleranzen von warmgewalztem Blech aus unlegierten und legierten (einschließlich nichtrostenden) Stählen mit folgenden Merkmalen : a) Nenndicke >= 3 mm <= 250 mm; b) Nennbreite >= 600 mm; c) Festgelegter Mindestwert der Streckgrenze < 700 N/mm2. La présente Norme européenne spécifie les exigences de tolérance des tôles laminées à chaud en aciers non alliés, ou alliés y compris les aciers inoxydables présentant les caractéristiques suivantes : a) épaisseur nominale >= 3 mm et <= 250 mm; b) largeur nominale >= 600 mm; c) limite d'élasticité minimale spécifiée < 700 N/mm2. Les tolérances des produits de largeur nominale < 600 mm provenant de tôles coupées ou refendues doivent faire l'objet d'un accord entre l'acheteur et le producteur au moment de l'appel d'offres et de la commande.
