This standard specifies the characteristics of hermetic receptacles with round flange attached by welding or brazing in the family of circular electrical connectors coupled by threaded ring. It applies to the models defined in table 4. For plugs and protective covers, see EN 2997-008 and EN 2997-009 respectively.
