This Part of EN 302 describes a method for determining the extent to which wood shrinkage under drying conditions will weaken an adhesive bond. It is suitable for the following applications: a) for assessing the compliance of adhesives with EN 301; b) for assessing the usability and quality of adhesives for load-bearing timber structures; c) for establishing whether or not the adhesive is capable of withstanding stresses due to shrinkage of the wood, without unacceptable loss of strength.

Dieser Teil von EN 302 beschreibt ein Prüfverfahren zur Bestimmung, in welchem Mass Schwindspannungen im Holz unter Trocknungsbedingungen die Klebstoffuge schwächen. Er ist für die folgenden Anwendungsfälle geeignet: a) Zuordnung des Klebstoffs zu einem der in EN 301 angegebenen Klebstofftypen; b) Feststellung der Eignung und der Qualität von Klebstoffen für tragende Holzbauteile; c) Nachweis, dass der Klebstoff in der Lage ist, Beanspruchungen infolge von Schwinden des Holzes ohne unannehmbare Festigkeitseinbussen standzuhalten.

Cette partie de la norme EN 302 décrit une méthode d'évaluation de l'affaiblissement d'un joint de colle causé par le retrait du bois engendré par un séchage. Elle a pour but: a) de garantir la conformité d'un adhésif avec EN 301; b) de démontrer l'adéquation et la qualité pour les structures portantes en bois; c) de déterminer si l'adhésif est capable de supporter les tensions que peuvent générer gonflement et retrait du bois sans perte de résistance inacceptable.
