This European Standard specifies a method for determining the effect of aggregates on the drying shrinkage of concrete. This standard is based on the testing of concretes of fixed mix proportions and aggregates of 20 mm maximum size. NOTE 1: Guidance on the use of larger size is given in annex A. Precision data is not available for variations in size and for variations in the water content of the test concrete.

Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren für die Bestimmung des Einflusses von Gesteinskörnungen auf die Trockenschwindung von Beton fest. Die vorliegende Norm beruht auf der Prüfung von Beton mit festem Mischungs-verhältnis und Gesteinskörnun-gen von höchstens 20mm Korngröße. ANMERKUNG 1:Hinweise zur Verwendung von Überkorngrößen werden im AnhangA gegeben. Präzisions-daten für Abweichungen der Korngröße und für Änderungen des Wassergehaltes im Prüfbe-ton stehen nicht zur Verfügung.

NOTE 1 : L'annexeA donne des indications pour l'utilisation de granulats de dimensions supérieures. Il n'existe pas de données de précision pour les variations dimensionnelles et pour les variations de la teneur en eau des bétons soumis à essai.
