ISO/TC 4/SC 11 - Linear motion rolling bearings

This document specifies the nominal diameters and nominal leads, mounting dimensions for ball screw nuts and mounting bolts for metric ball screws. It also gives preferred combinations of nominal diameter and nominal lead and a general plan which includes the additional combinations to be used when it becomes necessary to deviate from the preferred combinations.

This document specifies the boundary dimensions, other relevant dimensions and the corresponding tolerances of accessories for sleeve type linear ball bearings which are specified in ISO 10285. This document applies to: - the following housings: - closed and adjustable flangeless housings for series 5 sleeve type linear ball bearings, - open and open adjustable flangeless housings for series 5 sleeve type linear ball bearings; - standard height shaft support rails for series 5 sleeve type linear ball bearings; - flanged shaft support blocks for series 5 sleeve type linear ball bearings; - solid and tubular shafts for series 5 sleeve type linear ball bearings.

ISO 12090-1:2011 establishes the boundary dimensions and tolerances for series 1, 2 and 3 of linear motion rolling bearings, profiled rail guides. These bearings consist of profiled rails with carriages, which can support forces from all perpendicular directions and moments around all axes and consist of recirculating rolling elements. The internal design of these profiled rail guides is at the discretion of the manufacturer. An assembly can comprise one or more carriages on a profiled rail.

ISO 12090-2:2011 establishes the boundary dimensions and tolerances for series 4 and 5 of linear motion rolling bearings, profiled rail guides. These bearings consist of profiled rails with carriages, which can support forces from all perpendicular directions and moments around all axes and consist of recirculating rolling elements. The internal design of these profiled rail guides is at the discretion of the manufacturer. An assembly can comprise one or more carriages on a linear profiled rail.

ISO 24393:2008 defines terms applied in the field of linear guidance systems, linear motion rolling bearings and their related subassemblies, parts, accessories, and technologies.

ISO 10285:2007 specifies the boundary dimensions, tolerances and definitions for sleeve type linear motion ball bearings.

ISO 13012-2:2009 specifies the boundary dimensions, other relevant dimensions and their tolerances of accessories for sleeve type linear ball bearings which are specified in ISO 10285. ISO 13012-2:2009 applies to: housings - closed and adjustable flangeless housings for series 5 sleeve type linear ball bearings, open and open adjustable flangeless housings for series 5 sleeve type linear ball bearings; shaft support rails - standard height shaft support rails for series 5 sleeve type linear ball bearings; shaft support blocks - flanged shaft support blocks for series 5 sleeve type linear ball bearings; shafts - solid and tubular shafts for series 5 sleeve type linear ball bearings.
