This document (prEN 12944-2:2026) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 260
“Fertilizers and liming materials”, the secretariat of which is held by DIN.
This document is currently submitted to the CEN Enquiry.
This document will supersede EN 12944-2:1999 and EN 12944-2:1999/AC:2000.
In comparison with the previous edition, the following technical modifications have been made:

ureic nitrogen, cyanamide nitrogen, total phosphorus, water-soluble phosphorus, neutral
ammonium citrate soluble phosphorus, formic acid soluble phosphorus, total potassium, water-
soluble potassium, density, disintegrable rate, salt out temperature, resistance to detonation,
oxidizing solid, oxidizing liquid, GHS label, seedling emergence and growth, self-sustaining
